Beyond Site is a new body of work by filmmaker and artist Charlie Cauchi, based around the utilization of Malta as a filming location. The work playfully and innovatively engages with Malta’s landscape, history, and notions of Maltese identity. The programme includes a solo show at Spazju Kreattiv, a series of public engagement activities, an audio installation, and an online oral history project. This interdisciplinary work fuses Cauchi’s past academic endeavours with her current artistic and filmmaking practice.
